Position description

Data is an important part of our team’s decision-making process and analysts are a critical component to evangelize the data driven decisions we make in all our team operations.

We are looking for a Business Insights Manager to join our team to help us manage large and various amounts of data to find patterns and insights to help us answer business questions and better understand the correct ways to measure impact to helping customers solve their issues and get help when the need it.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required.
  • 5 years' minimum experience in Operations, Sales, Program Management, or Project Management
  • Experience in an analytics or data scientist capacity.
  • Experience leading complex programs.
  • Experience writing SQL queries, designing and working with large PowerBI reports and datasets, and developing analytical solutions for complex business problems.
  • Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field, or an MBA/Master’s in Operations or Finance.
  • Proven experience delivering results through Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM).
  • Background in data science, business analytics, big data, or machine learning.
  • Experience in building agentic capabilities for data analysis, workflow automation and administration overhead reduction.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to influence business decisions and strategic investments.
  • Strong track record of leading change, navigating ambiguity, and developing innovative solutions.
  • Experience collaborating and influencing across complex, matrixed organisations.
  • Strategic thinker with a continuous improvement mindset, focused on simplifying and streamlining business processes.
  • Exceptional negotiation, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools (such as R or Python) and techniques (including machine learning, statistical analysis, and data mining).
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, and Power Platform.
  • Excellent organisational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of statistics and data analysis, with a proven ability to extract actionable insights from large datasets to drive business change.

Responsibilities

Provide business analytics and insights leadership and strategic direction to the Customer Lifecycle Operations business strategy and to cross functional Microsoft teams.

  • Strategic thinking – structuring ambiguous problems, identifying the right frameworks and technologies to address the problem across the entire BI stack, including data warehouse, standard reports, analysis, dashboards, and scorecards.
  • Executing with a diverse team – Drive execution of key BI experiments, pilots, and strategic projects with functionally and geographically diverse partner teams. Experience developing sophisticated analytic approaches to complex business problems. Ability to distil complex data/analyses in to understandable information and actions. Strong relationship management skills. Ability to work with a diverse set of internal stakeholders around the globe.
  • Partnering with cross organisational stakeholders on business requirement intake & development, analysing data and converting to actionable intelligence for the business teams to assess performance, impact of business rule changes, support internal performance review cadences.
  • Technical solution design / development partner with business stakeholders to build and understand requirements, convert to technical solutions, and partner with engineering stakeholders for full build and release.
  • Collaborate effectively as an integral member of the BIM team, fostering a culture of open communication, shared learning, and mutual support to deliver high-impact business insights and solutions. Actively contribute to team discussions, knowledge sharing, and joint problem-solving, ensuring alignment with BIM objectives and best practices aligning to our continuous improvement priorities.
