We are seeking an innovative Senior Interactive Web Designer to shape the visual and motion language across Windows, Surface, and Copilot consumer web properties. This senior individual contributor turns strategy into elegant, performant interfaces and interactive moments that guide customers from curiosity to action. This candidate brings deep visual craft, systems thinking, and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to leverage emerging AI tools to improve workflow and scale quality.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 3+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related work experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years designing interactive web experiences for large consumer or product brands.
  • Experience in Figma (or equivalent design tools) and component-based design.
  • Experience with web constraints including layout, imagery and video considerations, and Core Web Vitals awareness.
  • Experience utilizing data to make clear design decisions and measurable improvements.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 2+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experience
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 5+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience with AI tools
  • Experience with accessibility principles aligned to WCAG 2.2 AA.
  • Experience designing for global audiences, including localization and right-to-left layouts.
  • Experience with motion tooling and formats such as Lottie and sprite sheets for lightweight implementation.
  • Experience collaborating in agile settings with engineering and content operations.
  • Experience contributing to or governing a multi-site design system.
  • The ability to provide a portfolio of relevant work for review.

Integrated Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Experience Design: Lead concepting and design for full websites, hero moments, interactive modules, landing pages, and campaign experiences across journeys.
  • Systems and Standards: Maintain and extend the web design system with reusable components, tokens, and motion guidelines that scale across properties.
  • Interaction and Motion: Define interaction patterns and micro-interactions that are purposeful, accessible, and respectful of user preferences.
  • Prototyping and Alignment: Create wireframes, high-fidelity comps, motion studies, and rapid prototypes in Figma to align stakeholders and de-risk decisions.
  • Accessibility and Quality: Ensure Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2 AA) compliance through color, typography, contrast, focus, and reduced-motion options. Provide design QA and resolve edge cases across breakpoints and locales.
  • Data-informed Iteration: Partner with research and analytics to form clear hypotheses, test variations, and document learnings that improve engagement and task completion.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with producers, writers, search engine optimization (SEO), engineering, and business teams to balance brand, narrative, performance, and feasibility.
  • Craft Leadership: Contribute to reviews, mentor vendors, and raise the bar with templates, pattern libraries, and playbooks.
