We are looking for a Senior Marketing Technology Manager to lead the technical implementation and evolution of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) at enterprise scale. This role focuses on building robust, self service content models, enabling automation, and driving platform adoption across global teams. You will architect solutions, optimize workflows, and ensure AEM delivers speed, flexibility, and consistency for marketing experiences.
In this role, you will partner with product marketing, design, and analytics teams to align priorities, remove obstacles, and accelerate global content velocity. By collaborating closely with product marketers, you will enable them to configure and execute simple web page updates, ensuring that the content complies with regulatory requirements and upholds brand standards. This unified approach will streamline content delivery for product marketers, across web experiences to deliver a platform that is reliable, flexible, while empowering faster go-to-market execution and creating richer customer experiences at scale.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years of marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in product management, program management, or marketing technology operations with a technical focus.
  • 3+ years of experience implementing and scaling Adobe Experience Manager (Sites/Assets) in large organizations.
  • 2+ years of experience of AEM architecture, workflows, permissions, and integration management.
Additional or preferred qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years of marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years of marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years technology/process improvement experience.

Marketing Technology IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and scale AEM solutions: Design and implement AEM components, templates, and workflows that support self service publishing and global scalability.
  • Enable self service models: Develop frameworks and governance that empower business teams to create and manage content without heavy engineering dependency.
  • Drive platform optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks, implement best practices for caching, asset management, and integration with Adobe tools (Target, Analytics).
  • Lead technical roadmap: Define short and long term plans for AEM enhancements, including automation, personalization, and integration with marketing technology stack.
  • Implement workflow rigor: Configure and maintain project management and ticketing systems to streamline requests, approvals, and deployments.
  • Champion adoption and training: Build documentation, training programs, and feedback loops to accelerate AEM usage across a matrixed organization.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design: Partner with developers, UX, and content teams to deliver scalable, reusable components and ensure technical quality.
  • Measure and improve: Establish KPIs for platform health, self service adoption, and content velocity; use analytics to guide continuous improvement.
