Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Interest in AI technologies and their application in operational systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years' experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding usage, avoiding churn).
  • 2+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, replacing or transforming an established product).
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, capacity planning, or service reliability engineering.

Other Requirements:


Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities

  • Be customer obsessed, putting our customers at the heart of all decisions.
  • Support product strategy and execution for fleet-wide orchestration and operational optimization.
  • Collaborate on systems for lifecycle management, predictive insights, and automated coordination across global infrastructure to deliver scalable, cost-effective solutions.
  • Contribute to the integration of AI agents and AIOps capabilities into fleet workflows.
  • Author product specifications, planning documents, and critical updates for senior stakeholders.
  • Establish durable partnerships with other products, engineering, and support teams across Office, Azure, and Finance to drive execution and end-to-end ownership of complex, cross-organization projects.
  • You bring clarity and energy to every meeting, document, and decision.
  • You raise the bar on team operations—ensuring follow-ups are tracked, communications are crisp, and stakeholders are informed.

AI-Forward Expectations

  • Collaborate on success metrics for AI-driven innovation and ensure it meets quality, security, and ethical standards.
  • Work with product management and engineering teams to integrate AI for automation, telemetry, service reliability, and fleet operations.
  • Stay current on Microsoft’s AI ecosystem and contribute ideas for delivering the best infrastructure for our customers.
