As the Senior Delivery Contract Manager in Microsoft’s Industry Solutions Delivery (ISD) organization, you will be at the forefront of some of the largest strategic partnerships Microsoft has in the Americas. You will be a key player in the contractual management of multi-million-dollar deals, which will require you to use your business acumen and decision-making skills to act as the 'glue' between the various Microsoft business areas and the delivery of the program contracts. You will be an integral part of the program management team, providing commercial insights that contribute to the strategic direction and overall health of the contract and relationship with our partners.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field AND 3+ years experience in project management
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience managing contracts and related documents at a large-scale corporation, law firm, or government entity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field AND 8+ years experience in project management
    • OR equivalent experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • 4+ years financial management experience.
  • A history working in a complex cross-functional business environment.
  • Track record of building internal and external business and supplier relationships at all levels.
  • Regular interaction with senior stakeholders, internally and externally, within an enterprise scale organization.
  • Consulting experience or MBA qualification (Preferable).
  • Experience working in the US state and local government sector.

Consulting Project Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,000 - $193,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $126,100 - $204,000 per year.

Responsibilities

As a member of the Commercial Team you will:

  • Work alongside the Commercial & Contracts Lead to shape the strategic approach to commercial contract management in US Public Sector.
  • Manage contracts and contractual processes to meet contractual obligations of the customer.
  • Ensure contract management is compliant with internal processes, and gain business support for new practices to be implemented.
  • Review and analyze RFPs and RFIs from US Public Sector organizations for contractual and legal terms to help guide proposal response.
  • Support and lead commercial negotiations including work order, SOW, and contract variation approvals.
  • Work with PMO, procurement, legal and finance functions to ensure new suppliers, partners, and customer opportunities are smoothly transitioned into the program.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities and then provide contractual oversight in the resulting delivery program.
  • Ongoing obligations management for complex, multi-year public sector contracts, including nonstandard contract terms.
  • Facilitate change management complex delivery programs in partnership with delivery leadership.
  • Support the Client Delivery Partner and Program Directors by providing them with all necessary contractual obligations and insights to effectively deliver program outcomes.
