Overview

Are you a seasoned product leader, passionate about Mac user experiences, and able to provide strategic and tactical guidance to other team members? If so, the Teams Core Client team in Prague is looking for you! Our team in Prague is responsible for the Teams Mac Client, Cross-platform Notifications, Globalization, and driving Craft across the Teams clients on all desktop platforms.


As a Principal Product Manager in this role, you will partner with top-notch engineers, designers, analysts, researchers, and product managers to create delightful customer experiences. You will be responsible for the Teams Mac Client as well as driving initiatives to improve craft across our Mac, Windows, and Web clients. You will provide leadership to the PM and team responsible for Teams Notifications and Globalization, and you will represent Teams Core in Prague leadership forums.

You will drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the above-mentioned strategic initiatives. You will collaborate with teams across the Teams organization, as well as cross-company with our partners in Office, Windows, and Edge. You will also partner with Apple to advance Teams experiences on macOS devices. You will have ample opportunity to share your work with executives and customers.

This position is based in Prague, with some flexibility for remote work.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives with a focus on Mac experiences.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams with or without formal authority, and fostering healthy cross-group partnerships.
  • Experience creating and delivering excellent communications and presentations, showcasing your ability to communicate complex ideas to others, including leadership, in a clear, effective, and motivating manner. Along with excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to align a disparate set of teams on a common strategy, goals, and set of objectives. And generate energy, create clarity, and deliver success across customer, product, business, and culture.
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively, coupled with ability to deal with ambiguity and adjust business priorities in an evolving environment.
  • Self-starter and innovator with a collaborative, can-do attitude and bias for action, with curiosity and ability to ramp up on new technologies and products quickly.
  • Customer-focused approach to product and feature design with solid understanding of user experience possibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Evolve and communicate the long-term vision and strategy for the Microsoft Teams Mac clients. Create healthy partnerships and working relationships with stakeholders, within our team, across Teams, and across Microsoft to align on and deliver the product roadmap.
  • Partner with Design, Customer Experience PMs, Engineering and others to align on, champion and drive cross-platform Craft initiatives for the Teams Clients.
  • As Pillar lead, provide strategic leadership, coaching and evaluation for the Notifications and Globalization PM. And collaborate with other Teams Core teams to represent all of Teams Core in Prague Teams LT forums.
  • Make outstanding product experiences, define new features and capabilities, and work across disciplines to bring these experiences to customers through specs, plans, prototypes, experiments, success metrics, and rollout, followed by measuring and reporting impact on OKRs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer feedback and drive solutions to address dissatisfaction and unmet needs.
  • Contribute to a healthy and harmonious team culture and improve efficiency in a rapidly evolving environment.
