Overview

On the Strategic Partnerships team, you’ll join a group of professionals focused on establishing diverse partnerships that are immersed in culture and show our customers how our products can fuel creativity and innovation, help them see the potential impact of Microsoft’s technology solutions. The Strategic Partnerships team is seeking a Partnerships Manager - Sports Properties to help bring to life Microsoft’s partnerships – focusing on best-in-class technology implementation and executing exciting and impactful storytelling that showcases innovation and achieves business impact among the partner’s fans. In this role, you’ll help shape and share the stories behind our most innovative partnerships across sports to showcase how Microsoft’s technology empowers the partners, fans, creators, and communities.

As part of this role, you will focus on establishing and maintaining a smooth workflow across partners, agencies and internal stakeholders. You’ll keep partnerships and campaigns on point and on task, adhering to deadlines and communicating clearly and often. If you have experience with partnership management, project management, campaigns, go-to-market, or some combination of the four, you would be a good fit for this role.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 1+ year(s) integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related work experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience with campaign development and execution experience with a focus on measurable impact analysis.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 3+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related work experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience sponsorship activation, integrated marketing, event management with American football
  • 1+ year(s) sports sponsorship activation experience
  • Experience partnering with engineering.

Integrated Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,100 - $169,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $112,000 - $185,300 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Manage external relationships with culturally relevant organizations ensuring effective delivery of partnership objectives.
    • Translate strategic goals into storytelling moments that resonate deeply with audiences and drive measurable impact:
    • Develop activation plans to drive awareness of partnership and build product consideration/adoption through storytelling and tech engagement.
    • Collaborate with internal engineering teams or agencies to deliver transformational technology with the partner.
    • Execute against rights and assets within partnership agreements.
  • Manage the development and execution of partnership campaigns and activations from briefing to partner engagement to delivery and reporting:
    • Develop briefs
    • Establish and maintain work back schedules
    • Manage creative reviews
    • Facilitate internal and partner approvals
    • Deliver assets to channels on time
    • Support reporting and insights delivery
    • Execute optimizations
  • Report on partnership activations and campaigns, mapping activities to key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying opportunities for optimization and impact.
  • Drive visibility internally of partnerships and establish regular cadence of engagement to ensure companywide utilization.
  • Manage a complex budget ensuring adherence to all targets.
