Overview

Imagine logging into Windows not on a monitor, but in a world created around you living beyond flat screens; available anytime, anywhere, AND in immersive 3D?
Our team is bridging the worlds of Mixed Reality and Windows, enabling users to access and interact with their desktops in fully spatial environments. You’ll help bring together the reliability and familiarity of Windows with the cutting-edge possibilities of MR (Mixed Reality) devices, shaping a new era of spatial productivity and remote computing.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll architect and build a Mixed Reality Remote Desktop experience that enables users to connect to local and cloud PCs within a 3D environment. You’ll work with graphics engines, low-latency streaming, and 3D user interfaces to deliver performant, high-fidelity virtual workspaces. This opportunity will allow you to deepen your expertise in graphics systems and 3D frameworks, solve complex challenges in real-time rendering and spatial input, and drive innovation at the intersection of cloud and MR computing.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees, we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
