The Business & Industry Copilots group is a rapidly growing organization that is responsible for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 suite of products, Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and more. Microsoft Power Platform is a low-code platform that allows users to rapidly build customized end-to-end business solutions. Microsoft Copilot Studio is a graphical, low-code tool for building agents and agent flows.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play an important role in the design and implementation of mission-critical services that enable copilot lifecycle management, authoring capabilities, and security management. You’ll work closely with product, design, and partner teams across Microsoft to deliver high-impact features that empower users and scale across millions of tenants.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in service development, successfully shipping software across multiple releases in a SaaS environment.
- 2+ years of experience delivering complex projects at scale.
- 3+ years of professional experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience with Power Platform, M365 extensibility, and conversational AI systems.
- 1+ year of experience understanding of identity, access control, and secure service design.
- 2+ years of experience collaborating across teams and disciplines.
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.

Responsibilities
- Participate in the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable, reliable, and secure services in the Copilot Studio Control Plane.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Architects, and other Engineers to develop an AI-first platform to scale agent adoption across various Microsoft platforms like M365 Copilot, Dynamics, and Power Platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver end-to-end scenarios that span Azure, M365, and Power Platform ecosystems.
