Overview

Microsoft Customer Experience & Success’ (CE&S) is a worldwide team of proactive and reactive Support specialists who live and work across 191 countries, supporting 46 different languages engaging in customer and partner interactions to drive digital transformation. The organization includes Global Customer Success team, which is in charge of accelerate consumption and usage of Microsoft products in our Commercial customers.

CE&S Finance organization works across all Microsoft products and services and influences sales teams world-wide. We are looking for finance professionals who can proactively partner with both finance and business leaders to drive global impact with the goal of optimizing resources, maximizing revenue, margin, and market share.

Our Customer Success Unit (CSU) Finance team is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to partner with our business to look at the intersection the Customer Success accountabilities in driving incremental Azure, developing analytics and providing recommendations on how to accelerate our Customer’s Journey.

This role will partner closely with the CSU Azure Infra, App Innovation and Data and AI Leaders, Field Leaders and other MCAPS Finance teams to design our consumption and delivery strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years’ experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years’ experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience in financial modeling

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or Finance work experience
    • OR Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
      o OR equivalent experience
  • Experience in project management, financial analysis, strategic or relationship management role.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams to achieve results.
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills.

Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial rhythms, provide insights of Azure performance under the lens of the Customer Success business focusing on Commit to Complete, Pipeline creation and the CSU activities that drive these outcomes.
  • Develop CSU Yield Analytics, ensuring best ROI thru increased consumption with optimal CSU Economics, optimizing across delivery engines such as ECIF, Unified and Migration Factory
  • Drive insights on Open AI and GPU usage and acceleration, provide analytics how CSU can impact such outcomes.
  • Partner with Field Finance Leaders across the OU29 to identify best Consumption practices and scale them across Areas.
  • Delivery strategy, resource productivity and impact of Azure Cloud Solution Architects (CSAs), tracking delivery KPIs and providing resource allocation recommendations
  • Understanding of Unified and Enhanced Solutions performance, partnering with Offers team to refine strategy and amplify impact of CSU resources.
  • Develop framework to measure Return of Investment of key projects and initiatives and impact it produces in Azure
