Overview
As a Product Manager II on the Office Shared Experiences team, you will work closely with Data Science, Analysts, Data Engineers, and Product PMs to model, track, and report on key Copilot interactions and underlying feature usage. You will drive a cross-team effort on evolving and refining our VCI metric set over time to help us better capture value delivery to our planet-scale user base spanning Commercial and Consumer. Your work will directly inform product strategy, feature development, and the measurement of Copilot’s impact on user productivity.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience
- Experience working with data, metrics, or analytics for a high-scale productivity application.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across engineering, data, and product teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience
- Familiarity with metrics-driven product development and experimentation.
- Experience working with or reporting on AI or productivity features within applications.
- Exposure to enterprise productivity applications and understanding of product lifecycle and manageability expectations.
Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.

Responsibilities
- Drive target setting, tracking, and reporting for Valuable Copilot Interactions metrics across Office apps.
- Collaborate with Data Science, Analysts, Data Engineers, and Product PMs to define, model, and report on key Copilot interaction metrics and underlying feature usage.
- Analyze data and generate insights to inform product decisions, identify opportunities, and measure progress against goals.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to product leaders and stakeholders through clear written and verbal communication.
- Support experimentation and iteration by helping design and interpret metrics-driven experiments related to Copilot features.
- Champion a culture of inclusion, innovation, and accountability in alignment with Microsoft’s mission and values.
