As a Strategic Public Sector Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to leverage the combined power of Microsoft Cloud Technologies, with special emphasis on Copilot, Agentic AI, Data, Security and Low-Code to drive the digital transformation agenda of our most Strategic customers, to achieve both Microsoft and customer business outcomes.
Leveraging your large, multi-functional team across the breadth of the Microsoft solutions portfolio, engage at the most senior levels of your customer and bring industry-relevant solutions to help the customer adopt and embrace digital technologies.
With a proven history of driving growth in market share, achieving sales targets, customer obsession, and partner collaboration, this role will give the opportunity to leverage your extensive customer network and sales experience to execute against your customer’s account plan. This role is flexible in that you can work 50% from home.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business Administration or Information Technology related area AND 4+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., financial services, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, energy, government, education), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND 6+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., financial services, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, energy, government, education), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)
- OR equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of the Public Sector industry and associated trends, business models, and partner ecosystems.
- Master's Degree in Business Administration or Information Technology related area AND 8+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., financial services, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, energy, government, education), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND 12+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., financial services, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, energy, government, education), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)
- OR equivalent experience.
- 5+ years account management experience OR equivalent.
- Proven ability to deliver customer success through long-term engagement, advocacy, and proactive issue resolution.
- Experience leading extended virtual teams and navigating large matrixed organisations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft products, services, and partner ecosystem is a plus.
Responsibilities
- As the customer advocate you will develop and oversee the execution of account plan(s) to ensure Microsoft revenue targets and customer outcomes are met.
- You will engage and lead with internal and external stakeholders on business planning, to promote mutually beneficial customer AI transformation strategies.
- You will orchestrate the full customer team across all areas of Microsoft to ensure we are focused on delivering customer outcomes across the customer lifecycle to build deep trust with Microsoft.
- You will proactively develop an understanding of the customer’s business, industry priorities to drive new business opportunities/ drive growth/net new business and advocates on behalf of the customer internally, ensuring requests and needs of assigned accounts are being addressed.
- You will deliver Sales Excellence for pipelines management and lead and orchestrate extended virtual teams across our solution areas to consistently achieve growth in revenue and market share.
- You will build and maintain a strong knowledge of customers’ industry, associated business strategy, and key industry partners and solutions.
- Will you gain deeper insights and knowledge through direct engagement in their customers’ business and operations.
- If aligned by industry, exhibits deep knowledge of the industry, current trends, and market dynamics, and the competitive landscape. Leverages their depth of industry knowledge to position Solution Area technology in industry context. Demonstrated ability to position how Microsoft products and solutions will help customers realize innovation through business transformation.
