The Sales Enablement & Operations (SE&O) organization plays an essential role in translating Microsoft’s commercial strategy to local execution plans and driving operational excellence to achieve the greatest results possible. Our team drives regional plans, insights and execution excellence, bringing strategy and priorities to life for our sales and delivery organizations and enabling Microsoft Americas to deliver business impact at scale. The Azure business is a strategic growth lever for the company and a critical component to enable our mission. Our business goals consist of growing consumption of Azure services in both our customer base and acquiring new customers across Microsoft and Open Source technologies.
Professional cloud developers are of critical importance in delivering against these business goals and we are looking for a Director, Go-To-Market (GTM) Management for our Azure Developer organization in the Americas, focused on the commercial enterprise customer segment. As the Azure Developer GTM Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving our go-to-market strategies and shaping marketing and business success. You’ll act as a thought leader, developing GTM strategies that align with our business goals. Your ability to track success criteria and performance metrics will be crucial in driving impactful outcomes. You will be working with emergent technology requiring you to simplify complex concepts and have a deep expertise across developer tools and the developer community at large. You’ll excel at creating alignment across teams, removing roadblocks, and ensuring seamless execution. If big challenges excite you, you won’t shy away from thoughtful risks, especially when working closely with the field, corporate, and cross-functional marketing teams.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years marketing strategy, business planning, sales, sales enablement, business development, pre-sales, or related work experience.
- 5+ years of experience with any of the following: drive and deliver marketing and partner programs; developer product marketing; developer audience marketing, developer community building, product marketing; product management; customer and market analysis; Go-to-Market strategy and execution; competitive market analysis and positioning; develop insights from market research; sales enablement and field support; build and execute marketing plans and strategies; or related.
- 2+ years of enterprise customer experience working with software development teams.
Preferred or Additional Qualifications:
- Deep insight about the local technical ecosystem, including cloud platform providers, developer communities and business trends
- Demonstrated technical marketing experience across cloud technologies, including Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud Platform
- Efficient understanding of software development principles, common DevOps practices, cloud platforms, business drivers, and emerging trends in Microsoft and non-Microsoft technologies and tools (e.g., Node; Java; Python; etc.)
- Previous experience in professional software development roles
- Track record of strategic organizational impact and influence
Field Product Marketing IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.

Responsibilities
- Drive Business Performance: Partner with Engineering and HQ teams to drive the Americas GTM for our developer audience. Identify growth opportunities in the market and build clear execution plans that deliver tangible business impact to Microsoft and our customers.
- Business Management: Drive standardized business rhythms that help increase business insights and learnings and activate leaders and sellers on investments and programs to drive customer wins and adoption of our developer tools.
- Lead Sales Enablement: Create, land and champion new sales motions, ensuring connected sales and marketing execution to maximize impact. Lead and collaborate with our partner organization for partner-led execution and demand generation.
- Product Advocacy: Provide thought leadership across the Americas for developer audience. Leverage insights form the developer community, customer, partner, and sellers on competitive landscape, product gaps, trends, etc. to drive improvements on the GTM plan and influence product strategy.
- Developer Enablement: Build and drive core engines to engage with the developer community across the Americas. Reach and enable hundreds of thousands of professional developers via relevant and engaging content, skilling programs, and hands-on-experiences through 1st and 3rd party channels.
