Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Software Engineer II to join the MAI Monetization Team within Third Party Ad Solutions & Data Management Platform group.

This role is part of a dynamic engineering team focused on building scalable, high-quality solutions that empower advertisers, publishers, and agency customers through thoughtfully designed products.

As a Software Engineer II, you will contribute to the development of robust, privacy-conscious, and performance-optimized systems that support monetization workflows. You’ll collaborate across disciplines to design and implement features that enhance platform scalability, data modeling, and workflow automation.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience with React

Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Azure DevOps, or Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

  • Works with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a feature.
  • Supports identification of dependencies, and the development of design documents for a product feature with oversight.
  • With guidance, learns to create and implement code for a product, service, or feature reusing code as applicable.
  • Assists and learns about breaking down work items into tasks and provides estimation.
  • Provides industry level full-stack solutions to support features in large scale applications (react, typescript, next.js, server-side render, js/ts visualizations)
  • Maintains applications (ui, api, scheduler. etc.) in azure devops
  • Provides quality solutions to system enhancements via webpack, babel configs, service workers and more.
