XPI is seeking a strategic and people-centric Senior Business Manager to lead programs that shape how we work, grow, and thrive together. This role will support the Rhythm of Business (RoB), drive culture and people initiatives, and drive team and executive communications across the org—ensuring operational, strategic alignment, and a consistent cadence for planning, performance, and engagement.
You will serve as a trusted partner to the Director of Cross-Xbox Planning and collaborate with the XPI Vice President and leadership members to deliver impactful programs and communications that elevate employee experience and leadership effectiveness.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 4+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
- OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year experience developing internal communications.
- 3+ years experience managing Rhythm of Business (RoB) processes and leading people-centric programs in complex environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in gaming, entertainment, or consumer tech industries.
- Comfort with data analysis and engagement metrics to inform strategy.
- Experience with performance management, career development frameworks, and change enablement.
- Familiarity with Xbox and Microsoft’s cultural transformation efforts.
- Communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence across levels.
Business Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.

Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the Rhythm of Business (RoB) for Xbox Planning & Insights (XPI), including planning, execution, and optimization of leadership and all-Team meetings, engagements, and Summits.
- Design and activate programs that reinforce XPI’s cultural identity, including team engagement, recognition frameworks, and inclusive practices.
- Lead initiatives that support leadership and career development, manager effectiveness, and employee learning engagement across XPI and partner organizations.
- Work closely with the VP, XPI to plan and facilitate team development and organizational health discussions and milestones.
- Develop and manage internal communications strategies, including team emails, newsletters, SharePoint content.
- Draft executive-level communications, including talking points, leadership updates, and strategic messaging for all-team meetings, offsites, and summit events.
- Partner with leadership members to ensure consistent messaging across forums and channels, aligning communications with business priorities and cultural values.
- Partner with XPI leadership to set agendas, manage action items, and drive clarity across planning forums.
- Support the Director of Cross-Xbox Planning in managing connection points across the org and scaling strategic priorities.
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives that span multiple disciplines, including onboarding, security compliance, and SharePoint governance.
