The Customer Success Digital Experience (CSDE) team creates compelling digital experiences by leveraging the full breadth of Microsoft technology and solutions to realize business outcomes and results, across CE&S teams and dependencies.


As a Senior Technical Program Manager on the CSDE team, you will drive the delivery of innovative digital customer engagement experiences. You will orchestrate cross-functional initiatives that bring new customer offerings to market, working across CE&S teams and dependencies. Your work will directly impact how customers interact with Microsoft’s digital solutions, focusing on business outcomes and continuous improvement.


This role is flexible in that you can work up to 100% from home.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 4+ years’ experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years’ experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years’ experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
  • 2+ years’ experience with Customer Success processes including reactive support or offering design and enablement.

Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year. Responsibilities

  • Drive Strategic Program Execution: Lead the ideation, prioritization, and delivery of innovative digital engagement and platform experiences that enhance customer satisfaction and drive measurable adoption across CE&S.

  • Translate Vision into Action: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather and synthesize technical and business requirements, translating them into clear, actionable program goals and execution plans.

  • Define and Measure Success: Establish and track Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across multiple feature areas to ensure alignment with business outcomes and continuous improvement.

  • Orchestrate Complex Programs: Manage large-scale, cross-functional initiatives by building strong partnerships across engineering, product, support, and external partners to ensure seamless integration and delivery.

  • Partner on Product Roadmaps: Work closely with engineering teams to influence and deliver on product roadmaps, ensuring technical feasibility, business alignment, and customer value.

  • Lead Launch Readiness: Develop and execute staging, pilot, and implementation plans for new digital experiences, ensuring readiness across support, documentation, and customer success teams.

  • Champion Supportability: Drive customer support readiness by delivering robust documentation, troubleshooting guidance, and best practices to enable scalable and effective support experiences.

  • Evangelize and Educate: Act as a technical advisor and evangelist for digital engagement capabilities, enabling internal stakeholders and customers through training, demos, and communications.

  • Continuously Improve: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, validate use cases, and enhance delivery excellence through data-driven insights and stakeholder feedback.

  • Ensure Quality Delivery: Lead the development and execution of Build Verification Testing (BVT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes in partnership with engineering and stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases.
