We are looking for an experienced software engineer that will work on innovative new technologies to increase product awareness and build customer confidence in purchasing Microsoft products. Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2 years experience using AI to innovate engineering processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing software in a full stack capacity.
- Outstanding technical problem solving and debugging capability.
- Excellent programming skills in C# and Typescript.
- Demonstrated proficiency in creating solutions leveraging Azure.
- Work collaboratively with a team of diverse and talented peers and foster an environment where group success outweighs individual success.
- Execute in an agile model where you do up-front sprint planning, participate in scrums, and maintain a good glide path towards completion.
- Own accurate costing for your engineering activities and execute with high accountability to schedule and quality.
- Contribute to the development of the test infrastructure for our features.
- Participate actively in detailed design, code reviews, bug/issue investigations with the feature teams and support well informed decisions towards business and engineering goals.
- Provide technical leadership, maintain data and results-driven culture, nurture a team culture of high collaboration and trust. Lead the team in using AI to innovate the engineering process.
- Help create solutions to develop innovative interaction models to create compelling user experiences.
- Maintain an unwavering focus on our customers and the value you can deliver to them.
The ideal candidate could come from a variety of backgrounds. People that have experience delivering high quality, reliable, maintainable, and scalable, full stack solutions using Azure or other cloud technologies. Additionally, any experience with react and Azure AI Foundry are major pluses. You don’t have to fit all these requirements but if you have knowledge with some of these areas, you should come have a chat with us.
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.

- Come up with creative solutions to develop innovative interaction models to create compelling user experiences.
- Execute in an agile model where you do up-front sprint planning, participate in scrums, and maintain a good glide path towards completion.
- Own accurate costing for your engineering activities and execute with high accountability to schedule and quality.
- Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and guides other engineers by developing and following the playbook, working on call to monitor system/product/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions, alerting stakeholders about status and initiates actions to restore system/product/service for simple and complex problems when appropriate.
- Contribute to the development of the test infrastructure for our features.
