Overview
We are seeking a seasoned and technically adept Principal Product Manager to join the WinPD team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in platform engineering, developer experience, or data science. You will drive product strategy and execution for foundational services that power Windows AI developer experiences.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and developer platforms.
- Proven success building products for technical audiences (developers, data scientists).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive complex projects from concept to delivery with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in software engineering or data science.

Responsibilities
- Platform Ownership: Define and evolve product strategy for core WinPD services with a focus on scalability, resilience, and developer usability in production environments.
- Customer Empathy: Champion the voice of developers and data scientists by understanding workflows, pain points, and success metrics.
- Technical Leadership: Collaborate with engineering to design APIs, automation, tooling, and validation frameworks for high-scale, low-latency services.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with security, reliability, and infrastructure teams to integrate WinPD capabilities into the broader Windows ecosystem.
- Communication & Influence: Clearly articulate product vision, roadmap, and trade-offs to engineering leadership and partner teams.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve complex technical and organizational challenges in ambiguous contexts.
