We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer for our Secrets Management & PKI team at Secrets Analytics Service, a leading data platform analyzing certificates and secrets across Azure and Microsoft. This strategic role involves building and enhancing our data platform to serve a wide range of internal and external customers, collaborating with inclusive teams across Identity, Azure, Office, Dynamics, and Xbox to deliver secure data experiences. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with background in software development, data analyze, knowledge of security principles. Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience with shipping and operating services at scale.
- 4+ years of experience working with large data sets using SQL/Azure Data Lake/Spark or other, to derive actionable insights.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Prefered Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of Data Analytics experience.
- 4+ years of experience designing and building scalable data pipelines and analytics infrastructure using orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or equivalent, with an emphasis on data quality, automation, pipeline reliability, and framework development.
- 4+ years of experience working with distributed data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Databricks, or similar technologies to transform and manage large-scale datasets.
- 4+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, tGCP, or comparable environments, including building and operating scalable, highly available services and systems.
- 4+ years of experience in data modeling for business analytics and experimentation, with an understanding of secure data practices including PII protection, access control, and data governance.
- 4+ years of experience programming in Python, Scala, or similar languages for data engineering tasks, including performance tuning, observability, and working with query languages such as KQL.
- 4+ years of experience designing, developing, or maintaining secure software systems, with applied knowledge of authentication, data protection, access control, and secure coding practices.
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.

Responsibilities
- Develop data set processes for data modeling, mining, and production.
- Implement internal and external APIs to support data integration and consumption.
- Ensure data privacy and compliance standards are met. Develop and manage data pipelines at enterprise scale.
- Optimize data retrieval, develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Focus on customer/partner needs through a data driven approach. Troubleshoot and optimize automation, reliability, and monitoring for LiveSite.
