We are looking for a Principal Software Engineering Manager to join our team and help shape the future of video creation. From automating video editing tasks to enabling entirely new forms of storytelling, your team will help enable the next generation of intelligent, user-friendly video tools.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of people management.
  • 3+ years of engineering experience.
  • Solid servant leadership skills and passion for supporting and developing people, with proven experience recruiting, hiring, coaching and defining growth paths for engineering teams.
  • Great communication with the ability to consider others’ ideas, implement new methods, surface and resolve disagreements and empathize with users without breaking a sweat.

Other Requirements:


Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in software development in enterprise or high-compliance fields.
  • Experience with cross-functional product teams.

  • Guiding your team to drive project plans, release plans, and work items in coordination with appropriate stakeholders.
