As a Technical Program Manager II in the MSD Multitenant team, you will lead cross-organizational efforts to define and deliver our Multitenant strategy. You’ll partner closely with security and product engineering teams to drive alignment, ensure technical rigor, and deliver key initiatives that shape the future of our platform. Flexible work options are available, and this role supports partial work-from-home arrangements.

This position is based at the Redmond campus, with 3 days per week work on-site and 2 days per week work from home. Relocation support is available.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
  • Experienced orchestrating technical programs that leverage M365 tools (e.g., Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune) to drive enterprise collaboration, security compliance, and operational efficiency.

Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
  • Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local United States government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to define program objectives, manage stakeholder communications, and deliver results in complex, large-scale M365 or multi-tenant projects.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving Microsoft 365 tenant administration, including policy configuration, license optimization, and service health oversight.

Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.

Responsibilities

  • You will work with Software Engineering to design technical solutions. You’ll also identify risks and propose data-based mitigations.
  • You’ll define success criteria as you collaborate with others to implement features for cross-functional projects. You’ll coordinate and ensure alignment across teams.
  • With minimal supervision, you will help deliver on roadmap for feature groups, track project schedules, develop staging and implementation, and stay updated with governance programs.
  • You will drive continuous improvements by validating use cases and partnering with other departments to collect performance metrics. You’ll also contribute to internal user support and participate in direct end user engagements.
