Overview

AI Business Solutions (ABS) Team brings together Microsoft’s Modern Work and Business Applications portfolios to help organizations transform how they work using AI. This team focuses on delivering measurable business value by integrating tools like Microsoft 365 Copilot, agents, and low-code solutions into everyday workflows. Within ABS, the Solution Play Team creates go-to-market strategies and resources—called “solution plays”—that guide customers and partners through practical steps to adopt AI-powered solutions and achieve tangible outcomes.

The AI Business Solutions Team is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to join our team! A successful candidate for this role will be a strategic thinker who can position their backgound in AI or Security Solutions to simplify complex Copilot and agent updates to deliver a compelling story to our customers. A customer-centric mindset and the ability to analyze and address customer pain points are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years experience as a Product Marketing Manager at a tech company within the AI or Security Solutions teams.
Additional/Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business
    • OR equivalent experience.


Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Connect directly with all Copilot and agent PMM teams: Establish and maintain strong relationships with Copilot and agent PMM teams to ensure alignment and integration of strategies.
  • Oversee the Copilot GTM MVP process for new announcements, working with stakeholders in product marketing, business planning, and MCAPS to ensure each Copilot/Agent launch meets the established criteria for go-to-market success. This involves tracking the announcements and timing, determining the GTM impact and prioritization, and ensuring minimum landing readiness.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to drive the planning and execution for regular Copilot innovation moments (e.g. major product feature releases or announcements), coordinating solution play deliverables and readiness for each launch. This includes orchestrating across teams to have the right content, training, and communications in place for field and partner consumption
  • Connects thought leadership between Copilot and agent updates and the how: Bridge the gap between Copilot and agent updates and practical implementation, providing thought leadership on how to leverage new features and capabilities.
  • Ensure Copilot and agent news is delivered in a customer-first way that clearly communicates the practical applications and benefits.
  • Looks at customer pain points and customer reality maps: Analyze customer pain points and reality maps to ensure Solution Play tactics meaningfully address them.
  • Connects X-solution area for Copilot and security for AI: Ensure cohesive messaging and strategy across solution areas, particularly for Copilot and security in the context of AI.
  • Work closely with all MW Solution Play owners to ensure cross-pollination of play tactics.
  • Connect the dots for X-solution play narratives: Develop and maintain comprehensive narratives that connect various solution plays, highlighting their interdependencies and collective value.
