The AI Business Solutions Global Customer Success (GCS) organization, an organization within CE&S, is leading the effort to enable customer success on the Microsoft Cloud by harnessing leading, AI-powered capabilities and human expertise to deliver innovation solutions that accelerate business value, drive operational excellence and nurture long term loyalty.


The AI Business Solutions Global Customer Success team is looking for an experienced Director of Unified Growth to lead our growth plan for our AI Business Solutions Unified business.

This role will partner closely across the AI Business Solutions Customer Success Team, working with field leaders, Delivery Success, Global Solution Area, and technical strategy teams to drive success. It will also work with key partner organizations including Finance Leads, Sales Team, FastTrack and Industry Solutions Delivery (ISD).


This role is flexible in that you can work up to 100% from home.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years strategy, business planning, consulting, economics, and/or partner organization experience
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 2+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, Business Architecticture, Product Marketing, finance and/or partner organization experience
    • OR equivalent experience

  • 6+ years experience in in Near Term Strategy (2 years out), Management Consulting, Sales, or Finance.

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience
    • OR Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 7+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience
    • OR equivalent experience (e.g., scaling a business,management consulting, incubation, driving change in a large company).
Sales Strategy Enablement IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.

Responsibilities

Demand and competitive trends

Align closely with Delivery Success, finance and marketing teams on key customer trends to inform Go To Market. Learn from field leader feedback on current model friction that could be addressed through changes.

Problem Solving & Insight & Judgement

Synthesizes findings into from research into Go to Market plan and other strategic projects. Think through short, medium and long term implications of strategy and partner closely across business strategy, tech strategy and partner teams to make a reality. Provide prioritization for key changes and investment needed to drive growth.

Communication

Communicates and advocates strategy and insights to senior business leaders (e.g., GM-level, CVP) and conveys viewpoints through simple and consistent frameworks. Use executive presence to drive influence for broader decisions that have implications on strategy. Communicate changes clearly to stakeholders and field teams. Delivers learnings, recommendations, and implications to senior executives to facilitate ongoing feedback loop.

Business Management

Show command of the Unified business. Understand key levers for growth, how they relate to the data and be able to prioritize which levers to pull to drive highest ROI. Lead discussions on performance monthly, taking data, field feedback and partner feedback and synthese into a simple story for executives to understand through forums such as the Monthly Business Review.

Team Development

Mentors colleagues in target areas, providing project-specific feedback as appropriate. Supports recruiting and onboarding efforts for Strategy team members by conducting interviews and training; may maintain pipeline of candidates. Contributes to team culture and takes a leadership role in an aspect of team success (e.g., social activities, onboarding).
