As part of this team, you will help build the Agent OS—an enterprise-grade solution that secures, governs, and manages AI agents with the same rigor and familiarity as human employees.
As a Software Engineer II, you will collaborate with a diverse multi-discipline, multi-site team delivering end-to-end solutions and end user experiences across the M365 ecosystem. These experiences are built upon a highly scalable Azure service architecture, featuring a React-based UI that will delight our customers.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related technical discipline
proven years of experience writing software in one or more high level language and frameworks including, but not limited to C++, C#, ASP.NET, Java, J2EE, Spring
Preferred Qualifications and skills:
- Experience working with large scale distributed SaaS architectures
- Agent based architectures, frameworks and technologies (such as MCP, A2A protocol, Langchain, Azure AI Foundry) experience
- Microsoft 365 and Entra ID for identity and access management in enterprise environments experience
- Web application development frameworks, such as React experience
- Experience delivering a Cloud SaaS product on Azure, AWS or GCP
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across disciplines and partner teams
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities
- This role demands a blend of artificial intelligence expertise and full-stack development skills to contribute to all phases of our product lifecycle, from conception to deployment. You'll work closely with our product and design teams to deliver on the Agent OS vision
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and peers to deliver on the Agent OS vision
- Design and implement core components of the Agent OS, including identity, provisioning, lifecycle management, and observability
- Rapidly prototype and iterate on new ideas to stay ahead in the agent platform race
- Write clean, scalable, and secure code, and participate in code reviews to uphold Microsoft’s standard for delivering high quality, secure and scalable solutions
