Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
    • OR 5+ years of experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, modeling, cyber security, anomaly detection, Security Operations Center (SOC) detection, threat analytics, security incident and event management (SIEM), information technology (IT), and operations incident response.
  • 3+ years of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) experience

  • 3+ years of scripting and/or software development experience

Other Requirements:

  • Citizenship & Citizenship Verification:This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local United States government agency customer and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport, or other approved documents, or verified US government Clearance
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional/Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree or Doctorate in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
    • OR 7+ years of experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, modeling, cyber security, and anomaly detection.
  • CISSP CISA CISM SANS GCIA GCIH OSCP Security+
  • Experience operating Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), with or without cryptography experience
  • Technical proficiency with computer network infrastructure

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills

  • Experience with WebTrust certification audits

  • Experience with physical security operations standards (e.g. ICS-705TS, NIST)

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Security Clearance.

Security Operations Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be part of a collaborative global team focused on delivering best-in-class PKI security operations. You’ll help uphold the highest standards of trust and resilience in a dynamic and evolving threat landscape.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Identify and raise opportunities for automation to improve security operations efficiency and effectiveness
  • Proactively identify and investigate issues in security controls, recommending mitigations
  • Operate PKI services for Roots, Certificate Authorities (CAs), and certificates throughout their lifecycle
  • Manage PKI hardware and cryptographic devices in high-security facilities
  • Document, maintain, and share PKI standards and procedures with team members
  • Use scripting tools such as PowerShell to automate software deployment and environment configuration
  • Conduct business continuity and disaster recovery exercises
  • Support secure operations facility maintenance activities
