Overview

Organizational Knowledge Graph and Personalization team revolutionizes how knowledge lives, breathes, and connects within agentic ecosystems across M365. Our mission is to create dynamic, intelligent knowledge graphs that not only answer “who knows what,” but also unlocks contextual expertise, real-time relevance, and human-centric discovery.

By harnessing adaptive knowledge provenance, evolving skill signals, and cross-platform federated insight, we power smarter recommendations, personalized learning, and instant access to the right minds at the right moment. We’re building the connective tissue that turns information into intuition and passive data into proactive collaboration.

As a Software Engineer II on our team, you'll help architect and implement scalable systems that transform fragmented data into living, breathing knowledge graphs capable of detecting, contextualizing, and surfacing “who knows what”. You’ll also play a key role in applying large language models (LLMs) to extract, infer, and enrich expertise signals across M365 data surfaces. This isn’t just software engineering, it’s platform-level innovation at the intersection of graph intelligence and generative AI. You’re not only writing clean code you’re helping define how digital agents learn, contextualize, and connect human expertise across enterprise workflows.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.
