The M365 Search Extensibility team has an opportunity for you get in on designing and building a core part of the stack, including data processing and understanding.

Design and build “Mega Scale” internet services in M365 group for consumers and businesses across the globe. Help end-users find the best Copilot experience to M365 service. Hands-on development and implementation of secure authentication solutions across our services.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 4+ years people management experience.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Passion for quality and a proven track record of delivering excellent results under challenging schedules.
  
• Deep interest in software development.
• Strong communication skill in both English and Chinese

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
  • OR related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• LLM or AI experience is nice to have
