Overview

We are launching a first-of-its-kind multicloud platform in partnership with Oracle—Oracle Database@Azure—bringing Oracle’s infrastructure into Azure datacenters. This collaboration enables customers to run Oracle workloads natively on Azure while unlocking new opportunities to infuse AI into their data strategies.


As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead the vision and roadmap for integrating Azure’s AI capabilities—such as Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, and Microsoft Fabric—with Oracle Database@Azure. You’ll work on a product engineering team focused on delivering seamless, scalable, and secure AI-powered solutions that transform how enterprises use data. Your work will help customers accelerate innovation by combining the depth of Oracle’s data infrastructure with the breadth of Azure’s AI and analytics services.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years' experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in AI or data analytics solution development. Familiarity with Azure AI services (e.g., Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Fabric) and their integration with enterprise platforms.
  • 1+ year of experience with machine learning, large language models, or AI platforms. Experience building or integrating AI-driven features is highly valued.
  • 1+ year(s) of cloud infrastructure and data services with proven ability to drive technical projects in a cloud or AI context.

Other Qualifications:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
    • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management
    • OR software development OR equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of product management or software development experience, with increasing responsibility and scope.
  • 3+ years leading cross-functional projects. Ability to prototype or script (e.g., for demos or automation) is a plus.
  • 1+ year(s) experience working within the Azure ecosystem, including networking, security, and monitoring tools and familiarity with Oracle workloads is helpful but not required.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• AI Integration Roadmap: Define and drive the development of features that embed Azure AI services into Oracle Database@Azure. Prioritize use cases that deliver measurable business value through intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and generative AI.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with Azure AI product teams, Oracle engineering, and third-party ISVs to design and deliver integrated AI solutions. Ensure technical feasibility, scalability, and alignment with customer needs.
• Product Execution: Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, UX, data science) to deliver AI-enhanced features. Manage backlogs, timelines, and governance to ensure high-quality, compliant releases.
• Customer Engagement & Research: Evangelize AI-powered capabilities with customers and partners. Conduct research and gather feedback on real-world AI + Oracle scenarios to inform product direction.
• Continuous Improvement: Use telemetry and customer insights to iterate on AI features. Optimize performance, usability, and security of AI integrations.
• AI-Driven Migration & Tools: Collaborate with solution architects to develop AI-assisted migration tools and copilots that simplify cloud adoption and unlock new AI use cases for enterprise data.
