As part of the Cloud + AI Infrastructure team, you’ll help customers migrate, modernize, and secure their infrastructure, applications, and data on Microsoft Azure—laying the foundation for scalable, production-ready AI solutions.

We’re seeking a Cloud Solution Architect - Cloud & AI Platforms Infrastructure with deep expertise in Azure networking and network security, hybrid cloud environments, and on-premise infrastructure. You’ll lead engagements focused on migration, modernization, operational excellence, and resilient architecture using frameworks like the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well-Architected Framework (WAF).

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 2+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years demonstrated customer service excellence and independent problem-solving ability.
  • 2+ years proven experience in customer-facing consulting roles.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 5+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 3+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
  • 5+ years experience working on technical projects.
  • 5+ years of experience with cloud-based solution design, migration, and management.
  • Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google) and security certifications (e.g., Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Zero Trust Architecture) with focus on Advanced Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-305, SC-100, AI-900).

Cloud Solution Architecture IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,100 - $169,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $112,000 - $185,300 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with customer IT leaders to drive long-term cloud adoption and serve as the Voice of the Customer to Microsoft engineering teams.
  • Lead Architectural Design Sessions to plan secure, scalable infrastructure solutions aligned with customer goals and technical environments.
  • Lead migration assessments and modernization strategies for legacy infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum ROI.
  • Govern design and implementation using CAF Landing Zones, with a focus on networking resiliency, multi-region availability, and security readiness for AI innovation.
  • Deliver technical guidance on Azure hybrid services including Azure Arc, Azure Stack HCI, and Azure VMware Solution.
  • Resolve blockers and accelerate adoption of Azure services through repeatable IP, delivery excellence, and technical leadership.
  • Provide feedback and insights to Microsoft product teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate a self-learner mindset through ongoing skilling, community engagement, and IP contribution.
  • Ability to deliver technical training and lead strategic conversations.
