Overview

The Gaming Marketing and Sales team is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Manager of AI & Automation, Xbox to lead the strategic vision, development, and implementation of AI-based solutions aimed at transforming manual marketing processes within the organization. This role is pivotal in identifying opportunities for automation, designing pilot projects to test and implement AI applications, and driving measurable business impact.

The Senior Manager of AI & Automation, Xbox will play a critical role in revolutionizing marketing processes across the Gaming Marketing and Sales team. This position will have the opportunity to lead the charge in adopting cutting-edge AI technologies, driving impactful change, and shaping the future of marketing operations.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years' experience working with AI and automation technologies in a marketing or business setting.
  • 2+ years' experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ years' experience with no-code or low-code platforms for AI implementation.
Additional or preferred qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
  • Knowledge of ethical AI practices and data privacy regulations.
  • Track record of successful AI projects in a marketing context.
  • Creative problem-solving and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for innovation.

Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Build a comprehensive AI strategy for the team, prioritizing areas for automation based on business impact, efficiency, and feasibility. Define a roadmap for AI adoption and identify initial pilot projects.
  • AI Implementation: Develop and manage AI solutions tailored to marketing processes such as campaign optimization, content creation, customer segmentation, lead scoring, and reporting automation.
  • Automation of Marketing Processes: Leverage AI to automate repetitive tasks including data entry, performance analytics, audience targeting, email personalization, and social media scheduling.
  • Project Leadership: Oversee AI pilot projects, including connecting data sources, developing models, and delivering results without reliance on engineering teams. Ensure scalability and integration into broader marketing workflows.
  • Business Impact Analysis: Quantify the value of proposed AI initiatives, demonstrating cost savings, efficiency gains, and enhanced decision-making capabilities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, analytics, and operations teams to understand pain points and develop tailored automation solutions. Communicate technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Leadership: Mentor and guide team members on AI and automation topics, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
