As a Sr. Product Marketing Manager (PMM) - Security and Governance, you will partner with Product Managers and PMMs to shape product vision and strategy for security and governance capabilities for M365 Copilot and agents. You will craft compelling messaging and engaging content to educate our customers on how they can secure their AI journey. You will enable customer-facing teams to bring your compelling storytelling to market and build trust with IT and security leaders. And you will engage with customers directly to understand their needs, share your expertise in AI and data security, and accelerate strategic opportunities. This is a highly cross-functional, high-visibility role and an opportunity to build a deep understanding of security product marketing from colleagues with years of experience in security PMM.

Job Location: The primary location for this position is Redmond, WA. Additionally, there are three other locations where this role may be based. Candidates who do not reside in one of these four areas will be relocated to Redmond.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of Technology/Product strategy.
  • Understanding or experience marketing/communicating to IT decision makers and/or technical audiences.

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field.
  • Experience with and passion for one more of the following: Microsoft 365 Copilot, generative AI, and enterprise IT/security tools.
  • Understanding of the software as a service (SaaS) business model.
  • Analytical and synthesis skills – able to distill multiple complex technical domains into simple concepts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to think strategically and drive change in a cross-functional organization.

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Influence product strategy through close partnership with product management and partner PMM teams
  • Drive R&D feedback representing market growth opportunity and customer product needs
  • Launch new innovations into market by developing effective plans and bringing together cross-functional teams
  • Drive market and competitive awareness, and product marketing depth focused on security and governance for M365 Copilot and agents
  • Build compelling storytelling and support outbound efforts to generate awareness, grow customer trust, and differentiate the solution in the market
  • Work with cross-functional partners to develop cohesive and scalable GTM plans and enablement of customer-facing teams
  • Engage directly with customers and present to live and virtual audiences
  • Support business planning on monetization strategy
