Overview
In this role, you will envision, create, and release new user-facing experiences that help people collaborate and communicate with simplicity and ease. You will partner with designers, user researchers, engineers, and in some cases data scientists, to envision, design, and ship new features and capabilities. You will iterate on these experiences, design and run experiments, and talk directly with our customers as you develop our forward roadmap.
We are looking for a individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, with background in user experience, and who has a track record of creating healthy team culture and connectedness, to join the Teams Messaging PM team.
This role requires a mix of strategic thinking, cross-team collaboration, and external customer engagement, and an ability to create user experiences that are skillfully crafted. Come join our team!

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in driving successful product and user experience solutions for complex systems requiring deep synthesis of customer research and data and industry and UX patterns.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate complex ideas to others, including leadership, in a clear, effective, and motivating manner.
- Ability to align a disparate set of teams on a common strategy, goals, and set of objectives.
- Ability to lead by example, generate energy, create clarity, and deliver success across customer, product, business, and culture.
- Self-starters and innovators with a collaborative, can-do attitude and bias for action.
- Organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.

- Customer-focused approach to feature design with an understanding of user experience possibilities.
Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.

Responsibilities
- Making outstanding product experiences. Creating and driving execution of a multi-year vision and strategy.
- Defining new features and capabilities, and working across disciplines to bring these experiences to customers.
- Working with creative and technical peers to develop plans, prototypes, experiments, and specs.
- Partnering with cross-company leaders to ensure successful delivery of the product roadmap.
- Defining success metrics, designing and conducting A/B tests, and measuring and reporting the impact on objective and key results (OKRs).
- Creating healthy partnerships and working relationships, within our team and across Microsoft.
- Contributing to a healthy and harmonious team culture.
- Improving efficiency in a rapidly evolving environment.
