The Gaming division is seeking a seasoned, dynamic Program Manager with an interest in shaping the future of the Gaming business by helping to drive strategic integrations outcomes, managing programs related to Gaming policy, governance and compliance as well as fostering responsible innovation across our portfolio of gaming products and services.

As a Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing programs that will help us achieve our mission of combining the best of Gaming with the best for Gaming to accelerate our business and create a more collaborative working environment for our teams.

The ideal candidate excels at both strategy and execution, navigates complex problems, and builds consensus among diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 6+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement, preferably in technology or gaming industries.
    • OR equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects from concept through execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex topics into actionable guidance.
  • A collaborative approach and experience with stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with global regulatory frameworks impacting digital entertainment.
  • Familiarity with gaming industry trends, player communities, and regulatory considerations.
  • Passion for gaming and an understanding of the gaming community ecosystem.

Business Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional programs that span multiple teams within the Gaming division, driving alignment and execution against key business priorities.
  • Partner with stakeholders across product, legal, policy, and engineering teams to interpret, implement, and evolve gaming policies and governance frameworks.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes, proactively identifying opportunities and risks for Gaming’s ecosystem.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, playbooks, and communication materials related to policy, compliance, and governance best practices.
  • Facilitate internal education and training initiatives on Gaming policy topics for teams across the business.
  • Contribute to the design and execution of processes that ensure responsible innovation, player safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Analyze data and feedback to assess the effectiveness of policy and governance programs, driving continuous improvement.
  • Represent Microsoft Gaming in internal and external forums related to policy and governance, as needed.
