We are searching for a Senior Director, Unify Your Data Platform - Solutions Marketingto join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion and understanding of the “Hyperscaler” cloud businesses and key trends. This role is a leader for the Unify Your Data Platform solution play focused capturing the market share of the entire data opportunity by landing that Azure is the best destination for first party and third-party data solutions. This includes how to prioritize product strategies into customer outcomes and aligning them for best results through a mix of strategies.
This leader will have a passion for technology, with a deep understanding of the sales and marketing levers and have a vision for how we gain share. The Senior Director, Unify Your Data Platform - Solutions Marketing should have the ability to analyze and diagnose business challenges, formulate solutions, and then motivate and influence the broader organization into action. We seek a leader to accelerate growth and establish our strategies to customers through our sales, partners, and marketing. This role involves working on rapidly growing business solutions and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders globally.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
- Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business
- OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years people management experience.
- Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 12+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 15+ years experience in business
- OR equivalent experience.
- 8+ years people management experience.
- Experience in solution marketing, product marketing, or enterprise sales.
- Proficiency and understanding of cloud computing, IT infrastructure, and analytics.
- Able to effectively communicate and collaborate cross organization in a complex and often ambiguous environment.
Product Marketing M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $155,800 - $277,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $202,400 - $303,600 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.

Responsibilities
- Drive all-up solution play performance/growth and E2E (Edge to Edge) marketing effectiveness in partnership with MCAPS (Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions) and marketing.
- Develop and refine all-up solution play strategy - including audience needs, pain-points, target segments, priorities, naming, primary products, customer/business outcomes.
- Define global marketing objectives and priorities aligned with solution play priorities - including marketing GTM (Go-To-Market) prioritization and guidance across integrated marketing, through partner and through CMO (Chief Marketing Office).
- Continuously monitoring performance to identify future opportunities or risks, and adjust plans as needed.
- Collaborate with sales and partner teams to ensure effective solution selling, partner enablement & customer skilling.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
- Lead Solution Play ROBs (Rhythm of the Business) – including ABRs (Azure Business Reviews) and marketing QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews).
- Driving business leadership through executive connection.
- Championing a collaborative culture and embracing servant leadership.
- Guiding operational excellence.
- Ensuring high-quality deliverables through strategic planning, execution, resource alignment, and quality control practices.
- Leading with Analytical thinking, Business Planning & Analysis, being an effective collaborator.
