Overview
Azure Capacity Infrastructure Service (CIS) is an internal service driving capacity build-out and decommissioning through automation. Azure is growing at a fast past and all capacity additions go through us. We're a software engineering team partnering with service teams in Azure to automate and drive scenarios such as building Azure clusters, availability zones or regions.
As a Software Engineer on the Azure Capacity Infrastructure Service team, you learn how both Azure backend services and business come together to make the cloud a reality. You’ll design, build, deploy, and run a distributed system to safely orchestrate the refresh process and ensure new product designs are ready to support a full lifecycle.
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
