Overview

Focused on driving E5 Security and Compliance, Copilot growth and the required security posture at scale with customers, FastTrack plays a primary worldwide role in executing this strategy at scale across our customers and partners while working side by side with multiple Microsoft engineering, data analysis, marketing, sales, support, and operational teams. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping customers adopt Microsoft 365 products by envisioning, designing, and executing innovative approaches to solve their business challenges, and effectively work side by side with a team of driven technology and business professionals to improve our products.

As a Data Security SME, you will work with FTAs, other Security SMEs, sales team, partner and consulting resources to educate and demonstrate the value of our data security solutions to our customers, empowering them to protect, govern, and safeguard their sensitive data while also managing regulatory compliance requirements and maintaining customer & employee privacy. Your main goal will be to ensure license assignment, technical enablement and drive adoption of Data Security product features for customers who have purchased Microsoft data security solutions. Being part of this team will allow you to strengthen both your deep technical expertise as well as your consultative selling skills across Microsoft and non-Microsoft cloud native data security solutions, architectures, programs, and technologies.


This role is flexible in that you can work up to 100% from home.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in M365 product platform (Modern Work, Security (Defender) & Compliance (Purview)), technical enablement, solution design, Product demonstration and Proof of Concept, deployment and adoption.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) combined with technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience.

Education/Experience:

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field AND 4+ years’ experience in M365 Security and Compliance (Purview) product suite, technical deployment, process management, execution, optimization, or related experience
  • OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field AND 2+ years’ experience in M365 Security and Compliance (Purview) product suite, technical deployment, process management, execution, optimization, or related experience
  • Additional Experience: Proven ability to engage clients, understand their needs, and map them into M365 Compliance (Purview) product features, drive technical readiness, deployment and adoption. Understand the customer segment, apply competitive analysis and market insights, that drive key business outcomes. Strong presentation, demonstration, and communication skills.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant Microsoft Technology Certifications.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Purview Compliance (eDiscovery, Auditing, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Secure Labels, etc.).
  • 3+ years of experience with Exchange or Office 365 (Exchange Online and Purview Compliance).

Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Act as Primary Technical point for Microsoft Purview Product, lead end-to-end deployment and governance of Microsoft Purview solutions, Require Deep technical understanding of solutions such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP) for Windows/macOS endpoints, Office365 workloads, and Microsoft Teams, Insider Risk Management, and Data Lifecycle Management/Records Management through retention policies, labels, and eDiscovery (Standard and Premium).
  • Conduct Compliance Manager assessments for enterprise customers using premium templates, mapping regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO) to Microsoft controls, Organization Controls and providing actionable insights to improve compliance scores and reduce organizational risk.
  • Guide customers through Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) and (DSPM for AI), By helping customers assess, monitor, and remediate data security risks across cloud and AI Apps.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with customer stakeholders through proactive communication, expectation setting, and advocacy, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal Microsoft stakeholders and Microsoft's Partner ecosystem to navigate deployment, manage escalations, and influence adoption of Microsoft 365 Workloads by articulating solution value and strategic impact.
  • Deliver FastTrack engagement's proof of concepts, presenting and applying architecture patterns, validating Microsoft data security capabilities through integration into customer environments, and driving cross-workload collaboration to support comprehensive Microsoft security solutions. Leverage service descriptions, Solution playbooks, and operational best practices.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively across diverse audiences, creating and delivering impactful presentations, handling complex scenarios, and fostering active listening and collaboration
