Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Account Executive (AE) to join our team looking after a Transport agency. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, fostering strong relationships, and delivering business outcomes that align with customer's goals. This role requires a deep understanding of the transportation sector, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in account management.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in strategic account management, preferably within the transportation or public sector.
  • Strong understanding of the transportation industry, including key trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic account plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing complex customers and organisations.
  • Enterprise sales experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account strategy, focusing on long-term growth and partnership.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, decision-makers, and influencers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging the full Microsoft stack to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions.
  • Monitor and report on account performance, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, challenges, and opportunities, and use this knowledge to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Represent Microsoft at industry events, conferences, and meetings, promoting our capabilities and solutions.
