As Social Media Manager, you’ll help shape the voice of Microsoft Learn across social platforms. You’ll work closely with other social media managers, creative partners, and social strategy leads to bring our brand to life through writing, scripting, and real-time engagement. This role blends creativity and community care—you’ll write high-impact social copy, script short-form videos, approve and QC agency work, and manage conversations that build trust and connection with learners worldwide.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Vocational qualification or higher education degree (e.g., Bachelor's Degree) AND/OR 2+ years direct or indirect experience in Learning and Development, relevant technical roles, business development, field or sales, human resources (HR), customer success, collection management, research/restoration evaluation, industry, or program/project management
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience working with social media for a large commercial brand.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational qualification or higher education degree (e.g., Bachelor's Degree) AND 4+ years experience in Learning and Development, relevant technical roles, business development, field or sales, human resources (HR), customer success, collection management, research/restoration evaluation, industry, or program/project management
- OR equivalent experience.
- Microsoft Fundamentals, Coaching (e.g., International Coaching Federation), Project and/or Program Management Professional, archival, or a similar certificate.
- Demonstrates commitment to career development and continuous or consistent learning through formal and informal efforts (e.g., change management, design thinking, management training, online courses).
- 2+ years of experience in social media, copywriting, or digital community management.
- Copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone and voice across platforms and formats.
- Experience scripting for short-form video content (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts) with a focus on storytelling and clarity.
- Ability to manage and moderate social communities with empathy and consistency.
- Familiarity with tools like Sprinklr, Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, or LinkedIn Campaign Manager.

Responsibilities
- Write and review social-first copy across platforms (LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, X) in partnership with the team.
- Approve and Quality Control agency-submitted copy to ensure tone, accuracy, and editorial alignment with the Microsoft Learn voice.
- Script short-form videos, collaborating with creators, internal SMEs, and production teams to translate skilling stories into fast, scroll-worthy content.
- Own community engagement across social platforms—moderating comments, responding to DMs, and surfacing feedback in real time.
- Identify emerging trends, questions, or conversation starters from the community to inform content planning.
- Maintain and evolve engagement playbooks and response frameworks for consistency across platforms.
- Help maintain a healthy, inclusive community environment by moderating and guiding platform conversations.
- Collaborate with influencers and creators to shape and refine captions, and post text that feels authentic and on-brand.
