Overview

The Scaled Solutions and Insights Data Analyst mission is to empower the Operations Service Center stakeholders with a range of data products and technical solutions to help them gather deeper insights and intelligence to amplify business outcomes in alignment to core priorities and strategic planning.

We are looking for a Data and Solution Manager who is willing to work in a dynamic environment. You will need to be adept at managing business change, evolving requirements, adjustments in a strategic direction, and emerging technologies. You will need to be agile and flexible, yet proficient and disciplined. This is an amazing opportunity to be at the center of building a showcase worthy data capability, the successful candidates should have proven experience in working with ambiguity, program management, a solid understanding of business and engineering priorities, analytical, financial, organizational and communication skills. Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 2+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis
  • OR Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • Candidate must be available to work 50% of their time in Pacific Standard time
  • Candidate must work onsite in the Bangalore office 50% of the time.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 5+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis
  • OR Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 3+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis
  • OR equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding the Business: Develop a strong understanding of business operations across multiple areas. Anticipate potential challenges by analyzing internal patterns and external trends. Go beyond surface-level concerns to uncover root causes and proactively identify business questions that need to be addressed.
  • Expertise in Data: Utilize appropriate data types and metrics to meet business needs. Evaluate data quality and address gaps in collaboration with data providers and partner teams. Apply data governance standards and ensure that data solutions comply with security policies, including encryption and role-based access.
  • Data Analysis: Determines appropriate analytical tools and techniques to address business questions, executes analyses and interprets results with actionable recommendations, and partners to build on others' frameworks while ensuring the highest levels of accuracy and quality in data sourcing, onboarding and integration. Critically evaluates assumptions about data or analysis methods to ensure they are appropriate for answering business questions in context and provides feedback on features and functions of analytical tools (e.g., algorithms, statistical models) developed by Business Analysis, Engineering or Data Science teams. The ability to create and release citizen developed solutions and automations is critical to the success of this role.
  • Presentation of Results: Create clear and compelling presentations, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate analytical findings effectively. Tailor insights to the needs of different audiences and continuously refine presentation formats for clarity and impact.
  • Evaluation: Design and conduct evaluations to assess the impact of business, product, and operational decisions. Incorporate risk assessments and learnings from past evaluations to generate meaningful recommendations and connect findings to broader business objectives.
  • Orchestration and Collaboration: Collaborate across teams to deepen understanding of data sources, methodologies, and business needs. Engage stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging existing solutions and consult on the interpretation of analytical results.
  • Improvement, Efficiency, and Innovation: Recommend and implement improvements to analytics workflows that enhance efficiency, scalability, and self-service capabilities. Evaluate the use of automation and AI to streamline reporting and analysis and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.
