Workloads we have shipped included Azure NetApp Files, Azure VMWare Service, Cray Supercomputer, Dedicated HSM, SAP Hana, and many more that are in the roadmap. We provide end-to-end networking solutions in Azure to integrate with non-cloud-ready hardware and enable new services to our customers. It is a highly impactful team with strong growth opportunity.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- Good experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or software/systems engineering roles.
- Good experience & foundational knowledge of Azure networking services (e.g., Virtual Network, ExpressRoute) and basic troubleshooting experience with hybrid connectivity setups with hands on experience working with SDN appliance hardware recovery.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
- Good experience or knowledge of:
- Scripting/Automation
- Understanding of TCP/IP and and data center networking.
- Strong problem solving and software troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in Azure Devops
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools.
- Debugging and troubleshooting skills; ability to follow and improve documented procedures.

Responsibilities
- Develop and improve Continuious Integration/Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and automated deployment processes to streamline service delivery.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using Kusto (ADX), and other telemetry platforms; contribute to incident analysis and postmortems.
- Drive automation efforts to reduce manual toil in infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and troubleshooting.
- Perform and coordinate hardware maintenance of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) Appliance tasks such as diagnostics, component replacement, system recovery, and OS/firmware upgrades by coordinating with Datacenter technicians
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams to implement best practices around observability, resilience, and operational readiness.
- Participate in on-call rotations, respond to production incidents, and implement improvements based on root cause analysis. Contribute to documentation, post-incident reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in monitoring and triaging issues within the networking infrastructure, focusing on basic control plane health signals and datapath connectivity.
