Overview

On the Strategic Partnerships team, you’ll join a group focused on establishing diverse partnerships that are immersed in culture and show our customers how our products can fuel creativity and innovation, helping them see the potential impact of Microsoft’s technology solutions. The Strategic Partnerships team is seeking a Marketing Partnerships Insights & Impact manager. This position focuses on working with Microsoft data scientists to evaluate the effectiveness of partnership activation efforts and provide actionable insights that inform and refine future initiatives. By leveraging robust data collection and measurement tools, industry trend analyses, and competitive intelligence, the role ensures that the set of partnerships deliver meaningful impact and aligns with organizational goals. Through partnership scorecarding and translating analytical findings into strategic recommendations, the role contributes to optimizing partnership strategies and empowering partnership managers.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 3+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related work experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ year(s) sponsorship and/or marketing activation measurement experience.
  • Experience with industry trend analysis and campaign impact reporting.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 5+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experience
    • OR Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 2+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing agency relationships

Integrated Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Partnership Portfolio Optimization:
    • Regularly audit all partnership audiences to assess alignment to core target audiences and identify gaps in the portfolio.
  • Industry Analyses:
    • Report on industry trends to inform and shape partnership strategies.
    • Conduct competitive analyses to benchmark partnership efforts against industry standards.
  • Partnership Effectiveness:
    • Develop and maintain partnership scorecards to track performance and impact.
    • Manage comprehensive data collection processes to support accurate reporting.
    • Work with the Research and Measurement teams to turn measurement reports into actionable insights that improve partnership outcomes.
