The Windows Agility team powers the Feature Management platform across the entire Windows OS, making A/B testing and agile rollouts possible through deep integration with system components and cloud services. We’re seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with C/C++ skills to help build robust, secure, high-performance solutions at the intersection of OS and cloud. Our platform enables safe, continuous delivery and experimentation - allowing new client features to reach users at unprecedented scale and speed.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C/C++.
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years Industry experience in design and coding in C/C++.
- 2+ years of hands‑on systems‑level development experience, including kernel‑mode programming or contributions to other operating‑system components
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in native multi-threaded system development and native code debugging.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Windows OS and its subsystems.
- Experience communicating and collaborating in cross-team and cross-function environments.
- Demonstrated customer focus and experience working with customers and advocating for their requirements.
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.

Responsibilities
- Enhance and innovate the feature flags and settings platform, a tool trusted by thousands of engineers to deliver features safely and at scale.
- Empower engineering teams to rapidly experiment and iterate, collaborating closely with Data Science partners to transform how features are developed, tested, and validated.
- Build and maintain systems across the stack - with a primary focus on client-side development, from kernel components to user-mode services - with future opportunities to contribute to cloud services.
- Design and implement new client-side OS scenarios and workflows that advance feature management and integrate seamlessly with other OS subsystem and surrounding frameworks.
