We are a Process Excellence Team that is part of the Planning & Launch Organization. Our team identifies/drives Continuous Improvement and Process Excellence across the organization, ensuring our precious resources are driving the highest impact/priorities. We are looking for a process minded, dynamic, strategic thinker to partner with Process Leaders across the organization to drive impact. This role will require driving clarity with stakeholders within Engineering, Finance, and Business Development teams and influencing the design of financial systems & processes. Furthermore, developing/maturing the Process Excellence skillset and culture across the organization and Microsoft.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 4+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience and proficiency in process improvement and design
- 2+ years of experience applying rigorous critical thinking to breakdown complex processes to identify improvement opportunities
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 6+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
- OR Master's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 3+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related role
- OR equivalent experience.
Process Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- As a Process Excellence Manager, you will drive process excellence throughout the organization. You will play a critical role in ensuring our processes are optimized for maximum value for our stakeholders. Your experience driving process optimization initiatives will be instrumental in assisting the organization achieve its goals.
- You will build and deploy the core tools and methodologies of continuous improvement in order to drive achievement of targeted results in cost, cycle time and quality.
- As you lead process improvement and the development of business outcomes for complex processes you will assess process performance. You’ll facilitate teams in definition of improvement goals, leveraging relevant benchmarks to set a high bar, and support implementation of improvements to achieve targeted outcomes.
- You will facilitate process execution and lead a clear end-to-end view of expected business outcomes for owned processes. You’ll manage stakeholder engagement rhythm and partnerships by addressing pain points to resolve challenges and to drive sustainment of improvements.
- You will facilitate the process improvement sustainment, including assessing performance data, interpreting analyses, and translate insights into recommendations to support teams adoption of continuous improvement. You’ll use data to identify opportunities, communicate results, lead the incorporation of process methodologies and leverage feedback from others to identify opportunities for future process improvements and work with teams to implement, using kaizen.
- You will lead change management using your advanced understanding of the business and continuous improvement. You’ll lead teams in end-to-end implementation of improvement for complex processes that span multiple business functions and lead documentation maintenance for flow, controls, underlying systems, and requirements needed.
