Overview

The Business Insights Manager (BIM) is the Operations interface for all data and business insights development as well as application development via Power BI, Power Apps, Flow, etc. This position provides value added insights for operations, field sellers, channel partners, and customers through data and trends analysis. In addition, this role delivers automation and efficiencies to Operations users worldwide.

As a Business Insights Manager, you will have experience working effectively across teams and be familiar with various methods of data analytics. You will utilize BI and development skills to deliver prescriptive insights from raw data, and will translate business challenges into data and application solutions.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 4+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement Operations, Finance or related field
    • OR equivalent experience

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years work experience in Business Intelligence, Finance, Operations, Data Science/Analysis
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred
  • Experience in data analysis, insights development and market analysis
  • Experience with application development (e.g. Power Platform)
  • BI experience; data workflow management, understanding logic and requirements
  • Project and process management experience, including planning, scheduling and coordination

Business Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.

Responsibilities

Sales cycle process-related insights & improvements:

  • Working with the BI Analysts, define, create and maintain key operational metrics and dashboards to increase operational efficiency (e.g. reduced costs, reduced manual touch)
  • Identify trends relating to complex deal scenarios, escalation patterns, arrival patterns

Application Development:

  • Deliver application solutions to drive process improvements and efficiencies
  • Enable predictive modeling using machine learning and other tools

Data and Application Strategies:

  • Work with BI teams to stay current and leverage new data sets and data delivery tools
  • Connect with key stakeholders across the Business and Operations to identify BI and automation requirements
  • Drive awareness of data availability and build best practice sharing
  • Alignment of data strategy across regions
