Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in digital technology and/or consulting/advisory (required)
  • BA/BS or MS Degree in Information systems, management, or equivalent experience. (required)
  • Experience of working in or with Automotive industry. (required)

Responsibilities

Industry Advisors are responsible for driving commercial business success by developing new insights / innovations, leading consultative customer engagements, and enabling others on industry related opportunities. In this role, you will serve as the industry subject matter expert to engage business decision makers to identify, assess and nurture new business opportunities leveraging Microsoft's products, partner offers and repeatable industry solutions. We are seeking an experienced enterprise sales professional with deep knowledge of manufacturing design, simulation, fabrication, and supply chain processes.

Responsibilities Include 5-6 key responsibilities that clarify the priorities of the job. ·

  • Drive account-based revenue by defining and landing industry plays across assigned manufacturing accounts (e.g. digital product design, agile shopfloor, resilient supply chains, connected products) ·
  • Spark innovation to re-imagine the future by facilitating envisioning / ideation sessions and developing multi-horizon roadmaps to deliver new capabilities ·
  • Ignite, shape, and secure market-making business partnerships by leveraging business relationships with CxOs and Senior Business Executives ·
  • Develop thought leadership assets and best practices that can be levered by others to increase the success of the business and Microsoft
  • Amplify externally / internally thought leadership on unique industry perspectives and innovations to accelerate Microsoft’s credibility / brand / mindshare ·
  • Continuously assess one’s own skills, development plans, and contributions to the success of others
