Overview

As a Communication Manager, your primary responsibility is to develop and implement effective communication strategies to enhance the organization's internal and external communication efforts. You will be responsible for managing the organization's brand image, maintaining consistent messaging, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders, employees, customers, and the public. You will play a crucial role in shaping the organization's reputation and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Communication Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to develop and implement communication strategies.
• Experience in media relations and crisis communication.
• Familiarity with digital communication platforms and social media management.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in communication.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Communication Planning: developing comprehensive communication strategies aligned with the business goals and priorities; understanding the market trends and stakeholder needs to determine the most effective messaging formats and channels.
• Stakeholder Engagement: leading efforts to engage internal and external stakeholders, including employees, cross functional leaders, customers, and the media, ensuring regular and impactful communication to enhance our brand message, culture, and reputation.
• Internal Communications: driving internal communication initiatives to foster employee engagement and alignment with our company values, such as D&I; developing and communicating business/product updates and organizational-wide announcements, ensuring consistent and transparent messaging across the team.
• Media Relations: serving as the point of contact for media inquiries and develop relationships with journalists and media outlets; proactively identifying opportunities for media coverage and coordinating press releases, interviews, and other media-related activities.
• Crisis Communication: developing and implementing crisis communication plans to manage and mitigate any potential reputational risks; working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate communication during challenging situations.
