Overview

Bing Whole Page Team is the core function team that deliver multiple experience in Bing.com to help user search & explore information on Internet. The work build by the team includes different Answers, Rich Captions, Visualization Cards, also the LLM powered Chat-Bot feature, all of which are important elements that make Bing as the top leading and differentiated Search Engine around world.
We are hiring a Software Engineering with deep experience and expertise in Software Engineering. You will be working closely with PM, Designer, Researcher, and a group of talent Engineers to contribute the quality and experience for our 100M+ daily users!

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 2+ years technical engineering experience;
• Solid design, coding and problem-solving skills;
• Experience in Web applications or scenarios like Search, Ads, Recommendation etc is a plus;
• Eager to learn;
• Growth mindset, proactive in tasks and responsive in quality;
• Fluent on English.

Responsibilities

Backend developer for Whole page and Answers.
• Backend service: Working on search stack in Bing to design and implementation the functionality of different search experience.
• Enhance the engineer excellence of the system including security, stability, metrics, dashboard, etc.
