The Xbox Platform team mission is to lead the Operating System (OS) & Platform for the next generation of gaming across a product portfolio of devices. As a Product Manager II, you will deliver scalable software platform for players and developers. You will work across player & developer experiences, commerce, business, and platform to deliver cross-functional features and programs that customers love. You will also be able to leverage customer-first and product leadership as well as technical excellence to meet and exceed customer needs.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 3+ years’ experience in product/service/project/program management or software development managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects, OR equivalent experience.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced English level.
  • Enthusiastic, attention to detail, results oriented, organized, motivated and self-driven.
  • Self-starter who not only deals well with, but thrives in, ambiguity.
  • Drive to innovate and solve complex problems while retaining focus on maintaining a profitable business.

Preferred:

  • 5+ years’ experience in product/service/project/program management or software development managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects, OR equivalent experience.
  • Technical knowledge & understanding of operating systems, platforms, and integration across platform and devices/experiences
  • Experience with a full shipping cycle of gaming focused products (e.g. Games, Xbox, Playstation, Steam, etc.)
  • Deep passion for consumer products, gaming or the entertainment business.

Responsibilities

  • Be at the heart of defining, organizing, and driving our overall strategy for current and future gaming products, platforms, and experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform aligns with overall product strategy and user needs.
  • Make and communicate technical and experiential design tradeoffs to lay out a path for achieving our vision
  • Balance our in-market product health and performance with the development of our long-term product vision and roadmap
