Overview

The Microsoft 365 India team is looking for a high calibre and highly motivated iOS Software Engineer to lead the planning, design, implementation and shipping of a few critical components for a strategic project for M365 business.

The Microsoft 365 India team is building a set of next generation of AI powered experiences for Microsoft 365 on Mobile (Android and iOS). The team is engaged in creating new experiences for people who use only mobile devices or do most of their work while being mobile. Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Objective-C/Swift/SwiftUI.
  • Ability to quickly pick up existing concepts and employ new techniques and strong problem solving.
  • Ability to design efficient algorithms and data structures and write tight and neat code.
  • Independently can handle design and implementation of features of right complexity.
  • Any exposure to Office technology, iOS / Android / Azure Services is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Implement features in a way it confirms to overall architecture of the area.
  • Write automation, create test plan and come up with estimates based on the tasks.
  • Learn new areas and to adhere to quality and coding/design practices of the team.
  • Be self-driven, proactive, results-oriented and have the commitment to continue to improve with feedback.
  • Have exposure to agile methodology and all phases of the development cycle, preferably on large-scale commercial products is desirable.
