The Technical Specialist Manager in Business Applications is responsible for leading a team of customer-focused Technical Specialists. This role is focused on empowering digital transformation and providing clear demonstrations of how Dynamics 365 and Power Platform can unlock business value. Also, the Technical Specialist Manager should demonstrate essential leadership behavior that can deliver two joint outcomes: best business performance and stronger teams that drive growth by coaching.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across various customer stakeholders, e.g. CIO, CFO, CMO, VP of Sales, etc. ​
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience inspiring others through leadership, personal influence, and status as a role model based on consultative and value-based selling.​
  • Proven collaborator especially capable of influencing internal teams such as sales, engineering, marketing, support, global resources and external teams, our customers and partners. ​
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience as solution sales or tech sales for a business application

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in both spoken and written English
  • Proven experience or attitude in leading a team of technical specialists
  • Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 and Power Platfomr capabilities
  • Solution leader of complex business application deals requiring orchestration of large, dispersed, virtual teams composed of industry and solution team members. ​
  • Driving solutions tech sales or solution sales best practices including but not limited to; discovery, building and crafting solution strategies that differentiate from the competition, value-based selling and challenging our with creative and innovative solutions. ​

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a diverse and high performing pre-sales team that supports customers in achieving their business goals. ​
  • Attract and retain the best pre-sales talents from the market.​
  • Foster and model a learning culture in your team to build deep skills on core technologies, broad knowledge of adjacent solutions and professional skills.​
  • Escalate blockers and collaborate creatively with other field leaders and partners, as well as other internal teams such as marketing and engineering to ensure the solution needs and preferences of customers are heard. ​
  • Empower your team to skillfully demonstrate Microsoft's value proposition internally and externally to executives by showcasing our technology innovations and building relationships with and influencing key decisions makers, both virtually and onsite.​
  • Drive cross team experiences that deliver increased sales and consumption.​
  • Encourage deep pre-sales community participation and the importance of gathering and sharing customer insight.
  • Build and lead a team of customer-focused Technical Specialists for BizApps solution (Dynamics365/Power Platform)
  • Constantly raise technical and business process knowledge within the team
  • Pre-align technical resources to customer cases based on account planning and priority
  • Maintain flexibility to realign resources if needed to minimize orchestration and enable proactive engagements
  • Exemplify a growth mindset, be a coach, and champion, and be committed to the long-term development of their team and the BizApps (Dynamics 365 and Power Platform) business.
  • Tailor conversations based on audience, industry, and company
  • Engage the right business leaders or/and technical buyer at the right times, and in the right ways
  • Share insights to build sustained relationships with our customers
